Spotlight on Spumoni! :)

Today was crazy.  It is my first day off (not counting the Easter holiday) since January.

I spent it spring cleaning.  It's funny - when we are younger we don't want to "waste" our time doing something so boring but as you get older you realize that life is all about the necessary and not what you WANT to do.  Sigh.

I reorganized my dining room, my wax and candle stashes, we cleaned the porch furniture and the basement.  We dusted and moved furniture.  Oh and we bathed the kitties.  Which wasn't exactly spring cleaning but more like we needed to do it cleaning because they are really, really mangy.  ;)

But anyway somewhere in all of that I popped my Kissing Booth sample in the the warmer!

I just thought since it was a new scent that I would spotlight it really quickly!  It's very pretty actually with this green, iridescent glitter throughout.

As you can imagine it would probably melt more thoroughly in a hot plate but since I have my trusty Party Lite bulb warmer that's what I used.  :)

I loved this scent.  Funny that I wouldn't normally have gotten it.  Now that I've tried it, I do think it might be purchase worthy.

I looked up some Spumoni history (yes, I'm a nerd like that) and traditionally it was an ice-cream treat made of pistachio, cherry and vanilla/chocolate layers with fruit throughout.  Neapolitan ice-cream is the American version which has layers of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate flavored ice-creams.

This smells like a creamy, creamy blend of pistachio and strawberry.  It is delicious and is heavy on the pistachio notes.  I do not get any chocolate but maybe it isn't supposed to be there?  I am not sure how Kelsey blended this to be so it might be that there is not supposed to be anything but vanilla.  Anyway, if you like creamy food scents or pistachio this is a go buy now scent.  Even if you like strawberry scents (although this doesn't smell like "real" strawberry to me) it is worth a try.  Sometimes you get just the pistachio and strawberry scents and sometimes you get hints of something else - nuts?  Maybe that chocolate I think should be there, I don't know.  LOL.

The throw is out of this world!  Even in a bulb warmer my little tart is going strong for six hours now and at first I could smell it everywhere, downstairs and upstairs in the bedroom.  I have a two-story Cape Cod with three bedrooms and a full basement with four rooms on the main floor.  It isn't huge and it is "cottage-like" but there have only been a few tarts that made the whole house smell amazing!  This is for sure one of them.

I love this.  So glad I got to try it! :)

Now it's time to go out to dinner.  Until next time, Ciao!
